The Amazing Spider-Man

A superhero film series based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. The series is centered on Peter Parker, a teenager struggling to find his place in life ever since his parents disappeared when he was a child. A spider bites him on the back of his neck, giving him spider-powers. It is a reboot of Sony's Spider-Man film franchise.

Joker

A series centering on a failed stand-up comedian who is driven insane and turns to a life of crime and chaos in Gotham City while becoming an infamous psychopathic crime figure.

Man of Steel

Man of Steel is a 2013 British-American superhero film featuring the DC Comics character Superman. It was co-produced by Legendary Pictures and Syncopy Films, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is the first installment in the DC Extended Universe. Directed by Zack Snyder and written by David S. Goyer, the film stars Henry Cavill as the title character. It is a reboot of the Superman film series. A 2016 sequel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the first live-action film to feature Batman and Superman together.

Nymphomaniac

Nymphomaniac is a sexually explicit drama about a woman's erotic journey from birth to the age of 50 as told by the main character, the self-diagnosed nymphomaniac, Joe. On a cold winter's evening, the old, charming bachelor Seligman finds Joe beaten up in an alleyway. He brings her home to his flat where he tends to her wounds while asking her about her life. He listens intently as Joe, over the next eight chapters, recounts the lustful story of her highly erotic life. Seligman reads a lot of books, from which he has acquired various general knowledge. He connects the stories told with what he has read about. The story is divided in two volumes and eight chapters; Volume I follows young Joe as portrayed by Stacy Martin, and Volume II follows the older Joe in later life and Seligman's apartment as portrayed by Charlotte Gainsbourg.

Ant-Man

A superhero film series based on the Marvel Comics character Ant-Man, and part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) series. The series is centered on Scott Lang, an ex-convict that stole a suit that allows him to change his size. Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man, discovered the subatomic particles that make the transformation possible. Hank mentors Scott to take over the superhero alias.

The Hangover

The Hangover is a 2009 American comedy film, co-produced and directed by Todd Phillips and written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. It is the first film of The Hangover franchise. The film stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Heather Graham, Justin Bartha, and Jeffrey Tambor. The Hangover tells the story of Phil Wenneck, Stu Price and Alan Garner, who travel to Las Vegas for a bachelor party to celebrate their friend Doug Billings' impending marriage. However, Phil, Stu and Alan have no memory of the previous night's events and must find Doug before the wedding can take place. It was followed by 2 sequels.

Prometheus

In 2012, the science-fiction/horror film Prometheus brought Ridley Scott back to the film franchise he launched in 1979 with Alien. Prometheus Collection movies offer a sort of back door into the original Alien film, answer questions about where the series’ terrifying monster came from. The collection is planned to consist of 4 films in total.

SPL: Sha Po Lang (released in the United States as Kill Zone) is a 2005 Hong Kong action film written and directed by Wilson Yip, and starring Donnie Yen, Sammo Hung and Simon Yam. The film was released in Hong Kong on 18 November 2005. It was followed by SPL 2 in 2015, and Paradox, released in 2017. The title Sha Po Lang refers to three words derived from Chinese astrology that each represent a different star capable of good or evil depending on their position in the heavens.
